Boxee API Kicks Video Out Of The Box

I have been trying to get myself excited about Boxee for sometime now. The idea is sound, but when they lost support from Hulu, suddenly I found myself wondering why in the world I would be interested in what Boxee had to offer anymore? So they have released an API. Okay, where is the benefit? Because honestly, I am not sure why I would care at this point?

Considering Hulu has sent them packing and I have not seen any other content that would compel me to use them over say, Miro, who has enough content to at least keep my interest through any software glitches.

Boxee’s loss of Hulu is not a good thing in any way shape or form. And in my estimation, the longer it is that Hulu is away in the legitimate sense, the harder this is going to hurt Boxee as it will be a software provider with no content. While I realize that Boxee has other content channels available, I would say that without Hulu, no one is going to bother using anything Boxee has to offer.
